Edgar is a tyrannical red lobster who lives in Lobsterville, a lobster farm that's located outside the reef village.

Appearance

Edgar is noticeably taller than both Lulu and André. He is a large red lobster with a crimson color armor. And like his former lobster colony, Edgar has a red mustache and his eyes have black sclera and turquoise irises.

Personality

In a way similar to Big Boss, Edgar is a tyrannical and overbearing red lobster who "rules" Lobsterville with his iron fist. He believes that life in Lobsterville is a paradise since the lobster farmer would feed and lodge the inhabitants, and he refuses to listen to anyone who's against his statement. Because of it, Edgar has come off as a very firm, aggressive, and self-proclaimed "leader" of the "community", treating his fellow lobsters as if they're his prisoners and treats Lobsterville similar to a concentration camp rather than a community. And whenever he caught someone trying to escape from Lobsterville, Edgar would easily get angry at them and punishes them by sending them to a larger lobster trap called the "LUSD" ("Lobsters Under Surveillance District"), and locks them in there.

Relationships

André's lobster colony

Edgar was the former superior for a lobster clan when they're held prisoners at Lobsterville. The clan was all very fearful of him and they have to follow his every command to avoid getting punished by him. When Lulu, André, and the kids all outsmarted Edgar and trap him inside the "LUSD", Edgar commands his fellow lobsters to prevent the six from escaping the farm, but everyone all manages to escape, leaving Edgar all alone in Lobsterville instead.

Since Lulu and André are both lobsters, Edgar doesn't treat them very well like the other lobsters on the farm. So when he caught them and the kids all trying to escape, he locks the six in the "LUSD" as a punishment for them.

Ricky, Ella, Pipo, and Annabel

While Edgar doesn't interact with each of the kids individually, he treats them as his prisoners when they all try to escape from Lobsterville and locks them in the "LUSD" despite the four kids aren't even lobsters themselves.

Trivia

• After everyone, except Edgar, escaped from Lobsterville, André took the former captive lobsters in as his colony. And when André taught his colony sculpturing class, the lobster clan all built a sculpture of Edgar in his honor.
• Because Edgar has his claws stuck onto the back wall of the "LUSD" lobster trap and he's also locked inside the trap, he's currently the only lobster still living in Lobsterville after the other captives escaped.
