Scene: Reef village. Ricky, Pipo, Annabel, and Ella are playing tag.
(The three kids hide behind a sea plant. Annabel laughs)
Ella: Shh!
Pipo: Ricky'll never find us, no way.
Ricky: Found you. (Ricky chases after Ella, Annabel, and Pipo) Ha ha!
(Pipo, Ella, and Annabel all swim past Alpha)
Alpha: Pblblblblbl! (Ricky swim past him) Pblblblbl!
(The kids all swim to Margaret near her seaweed garden)
Margaret: Huh? (Pipo, Annabel, and Ella all swim around her tentacle) Children, please! Get out of my tentacles! (The kids all swim away) Hmm.
(The kids all swim to the entrance outside the reef)
Ricky: Ha ha! You'll never get away from me, Pipo!
Pipo: Yeah, that's what you think.
(Pipo swims to outside the reef)
Scene: Outside the reef
(Ricky tags Pipo)
Ricky: Tag! Now you're "it".
Ella: I think we've gone a bit too far from the reef. We'd best not hang around here.
(The kids all heard a voice nearby. They look to see three orange fish tourists)
Orange fish tourist: Now here we are, lost in the middle of nowhere! I told you we should've gone right.
Orange fish tourist 2: Oh, please. You don't even know your right from your left.
Orange fish tourist: How can you say that? I happen to have an amazing sense of direction.
Orange fish tourist 3: Well, I'm fed up. I'm gonna stay put right here.
Orange fish tourist 2: Oh, boy, talk about a lousy vacation.
Ella: Hello. Can we help you?
Orange fish tourist 2: We're returning from a very long vacation, and we're still at least 10, 000 fin strokes from our town.
Ella: You could rest at our village if you like. It's right nearby.
Orange fish tourist 2: A village? Ha ha ha ha! Uh, thanks, but no, thanks.
Orange fish tourist 3: You have to understand we're used to four-starfish holiday resorts.
Orange fish tourist: I'm afraid we don't have the same kind of values--
(Big Boss, Marco, and Philippe all arrive)
Big Boss: What are you doing on my territory?
Orange fish tourists: M-M-M-Moray eels! Moray eels!
Philippe: Oh, what appetizing little fishies.
Orange fish tourist 3: Uh, if your invitation still stands, we'd be delighted to discover your, uh... village.
(Later, the kids and the orange fish tourists all swim through the passageways to the village)
Ricky: You're gonna see that our reef is a whole lot better than a four-starfish holiday resort.
Pipo: Here, we're talking five-starfish!
Scene: Reef village
Albert: Hello.
Orange fish tourists: A shark!
Annabel: Don't be afraid. Albert is a very, very nice shark.
(Ricky swims into Albert's mouth)
Ricky: And here's the proof! (closes Albert's mouth with himself inside)
(The orange fish tourists all gasp)
Albert: Mmm. Mmm.
(Ricky pushes Albert's mouth open and he swims out)
Ricky: Ha ha ha! Ta-da!
Orange fish tourist: I've never seen anything like that!
Orange fish tourist 2: Wow, that was some number!
Ricky: And you haven't seen anything yet. Here, everything is exceptional.
Scene: Shell school. Babbles is trying to imitate a dolphin
(Babbles makes grunting sounds)
Lulu: You really need these private lessons, because you sound more like a sea lion rather than a dolphin. Listen and learn.
(Lulu makes dolphin noises)
Orange fish tourist 2: Incredible! A dolphin lobster runs the school here?
Scene: Seaweed field. The crabs are at work
Crabs: ♫ Cut some here, cut some there. Cut and cut and cut the seaweed. Cut some here, cut some there. ♫
The kids and the orange fish tourists: ♫ Cut and cut the seaweed. ♫
Pipo: (to the orange fish tourists) This may not be a four-starfish holiday resort, but here life is like one big musical.
Orange fish tourist 3: How exciting. It's like we're explorers, discovering a primitive village.
Scene: Somewhere in the reef village. Ray is relaxing near the bubble bath clam.
Ray: Ah, what a nice, relaxing bubble bath. (notices the kids and the orange fish tourists are all watching) Huh? Hey!
Annabel: And here in our village, we totally know how to relax to the max.
(Ray swims away)
Orange fish tourist 2: (laughs) The natives here are so original.
(The rest of the orange fish tourists laugh. Nearby, the Rockfish are rehearsing a synchronized swimming routine)
Glitz: And one, and two, and faster! Faster!
(The kids and the orange fish tourists all arrive)
Orange fish tourists: Faster!
Glitz: Huh?
(Crudd and Babbles both bump into each other)
Orange fish tourist 3: What a mind-blowing finale.
Glitz: You numbskulls find that amusing?
Orange fish tourist 3: It's extraordinary. Those children seem so authentic.
The Rockfish: Authentic yourself!
(Later, the orange fish tourists and the kids all visit César diving helmet. César gives the orange fish tourists a glass eye)
Orange fish tourist 3: Oh, super. I've never had such an original souvenir.
Ricky: So, then, how many stars would you give our village?
Orange fish tourist 3: Without hesitation, five stars!
(The kids all laugh)
Ella: Yeah!
(Later, the kids and the orange fish tourists are near the passageways)
Orange fish tourist 2: That was super, discovering a different place. We'll talk about it to every fish in the sea.
Ricky: No, no, no, no! Please don't! You must never talk about our village.
Pipo: Or about our secret entranceway.
Ella: Because it could attract predators with bad intentions.
Orange fish tourist 3: That's a shame. But we understand. Promise. We won't tell anybody. Thanks again. And good-bye.
(The orange fish tourists all swim to the passageways. The kids all wave good-bye and swim away, unaware that Glitz eavesdrops on them)
Scene: Big Boss's shipwreck. The Rockfish explain to Big Boss about what happened.
Big Boss: Who cares about predators when there are tourists? Get ready for the most terrible invasion ever, Sammy.
(Big Boss and the Rockfish all laugh)
Scene: Shell school. The Rockfish are trying to make dolphin noises.
(The Rockfish all grunt)
Lulu: Hmm. Now you sound more like seagulls rather than dolphins. Fine. Go back to your places. We're now going to study the call of the whale. Let me begin by saying--
(The electric rays and the black-and-white fish all arrive and look inside the classroom)
Electric ray: Is this the famous school he was talking about?
Black-and-white fish: Ooh, how picturesque.
Electric ray 2: I never saw a lobster dolphin before.
Lulu: Uh, where was I? Ah, yes. The call of the whale is a--
(The kids all look outside the school to see there're tourists everywhere)
Black-and-white fish 2: No, I heard that too. I heard so many good things about this holiday resort.
(Sammy arrives)
Sammy: What is going on here? Where have all these fish come from?
Ricky: Those other tourists must've talked about our village.
Scene: Outside the reef. Big Boss, Marco, and Philippe are advertising the village
Marco: Step right up. The best holiday resort ever!
Big Boss: Yes, indeed. The most unusual vacation spot in the world. Super-authentic, never seen by fish before. You absolutely must discover this village where tourists are treated like kings.
Tourists: Like kings?
Marco and Philippe: Mm-hmm. (reveal the entranceway)
(The tourists get inside the passageway)
Scene: Reef village. Sammy swims around as the village is overruned by tourists
Black-and-white fish 3: Wow, how unusual. Look over here.
(A fever of three electric rays appear in front of Sammy)
Electric ray 2: (to Sammy) Say there, Mr. Turtle, are you familiar with the timetable of the demonstrations and activities?
Sammy: Huh? What are you talking about?
(The fever of electric rays all swim away. The kids all arrive)
Ricky: It was because of those tourists who came here.
Sammy: Tourists, you say?
Ricky: Yeah. We took such good care of them the other day--
Pipo: That they must've blabber-mouthed all over the ocean.
Sammy: I see. In that case, you take care of these guys here and try to see it that they don't disturb too much our life here in the reef. (swims away)
The kids: Promise!
(The tourists are all at the palaver tree)
Electric ray 3: I can't believe this!
Electric ray 4: What kind of organization is this?
Electric ray 5: We're tired of waiting!
Black-and-white fish 3: I'm really upset.
Ella: The sooner they get what they came for, the sooner they'll be gone.
The kids: And the sooner we'll have some peace and quiet.
Electric ray 6: Yeah, I give that a two out of ten.
(The kids arrive at the palaver tree)
Ricky: Follow your guides. The tour begins in the seaweed field.
Scene: Seaweed field. Ella is showing the tourists in the garden.
Ella: Here, our friends the crabs work their pincers off gathering seaweed.
Black-and-white fish 4: What an extraordinary spectacle.
Black-and-white fish 5: Yes, it's magnificent. (bites on a seaweed) Oh, and it's delicious.
Crab: Hey there, stop!
Crab 2: This isn't a serve-yourself buffet.
Crab 3: What do you think you're doing?
Scene: Somewhere in the reef village. Ella is leading the tourists to the bubble bath clam
Ella: For the next part of our tour, let's discover our famous bubble bath.
(Everyone hears a few tourists nearby)
Tourists: Faster! Faster!
(Ella looks to see the tourists are all riding on Margaret's tentacles like a carousel)
Electric ray 7: Hey, look. That ride over there looks super-fun.
Black-and-white fish 6: Wow, too cool!
Tourists: (to Margaret) Faster! Faster!
Margaret: Let go of my tentacles!
Annabel: Hang on, Mommy, here I come!
Black-and-white fish 7: Wow, that was some ride.
Black-and-white fish 8: It was awesome! Can we do it again?
(The three black-and-white fish all swim to Margaret, but the latter swim away from them)
Tourists: Huh? Can we? Can we?
Ricky: Uh, how about we continue our tour?
Black-and-white fish 7: I must absolutely bring back a local souvenir.
Black-and-white fish 9: Oh, yeah, me, too.
Black-and-white fish 8: Let's go look for a souvenir shop.
Ella: Why, César, of course. He'd be delighted to find souvenirs for our tourists.
(At César's diving helmet, some of the tourists have taken all of his items)
César: Stop it! You're not allowed to just serve yourself like that! (sobs)
Ricky: (to Ella) Delighted? Really? (to César) Don't worry, César. We'll replace all of your objects.
Ella: What are they up to now?
Scene: Palaver tree. The tourists are watching Sammy hosting a meeting.
Electric ray 8: This show is gonna be so boring.
Sammy: As I was saying, let's now move on to the coral problem that--
Tourists: Boo!
Black-and-white fish 10: I want my money back!
Pipo: All right, now, the visit is now over.
Ricky: The exit's right this way.
Electric ray 9: You're right. It's time to go to bed. And since we're here all week long, we have plenty of time for all the other activities.
(The tourists all swim away)
The kids: All week long?
Sammy: These tourists are a real nuisance to our village. You promised me you'd take care of them. It's up to you to get them to leave, and fast. (swims away)
Ella: Uh, I think I just might know how.
Scene: Big Boss's shipwreck
Glitz: Okay, boss, they're everywhere. Nobody can no longer stand these horrible tourists.
Big Boss: Ha ha ha ha! Soon I'll be welcomed into the village as the savior. I am such a genius. (He laughs a little, but he suddenly coughs)
Scene: Reef village, at night. The kids are hiding behind a large rock as they watch the tourists all sleeping near the crab cave.
(Ricky gestures to the crabs to come over. Four crabs arrive and click their pincers very loud)
Tourists: Huh?
Black-and-white fish 11: We're trying to sleep here! Help! My poor eardrums!
(Behind the large rock, the kids all laugh)
Scene: Seaweed field, the next day. The tourists are half-awake as the kids all arrive with seaweeds for them
Annabel: And after the early-morning wake-up call, nothing like a little breakfast! (gives three seaweeds to three black-and-white fish)
'Black-and-white fish 12: Yuck! (Ricky and Ella both giggle) This seaweed is not fresh at all.
Black-and-white fish 13: Yeah, it's disgusting.
Black-and-white fish 14: Are they trying to poison us?
Ella: (giggles) And now for the grand finale.
Scene: Albert's den
Ricky: Ladies and gentlemen, get ready to feast your eyes on something exceptional-- a very, very nice shark!
Electric ray 10: I heard about this famous number. We're not gonna be disappointed.
(Albert arrives and opens his mouth)
Albert: Ahh. (Ricky gets inside Albert's mouth. Albert closes his mouth and swims in circles once. He opens his mouth) Ta-da!
(The tourists all cheer)
Ella: No, you mustn't applaud Albert. That scares him, and he might blow a fuse.
(Albert yells and blows a fuse, causing the tourists to all scream. He chases after the tourists. Sammy arrives)
Sammy: What in the world is going on now?
(Albert chases the tourists to the entranceways)
Electric ray 11: That seahorse told us we'd be treated like kings. We'll never come back here, you bunch of savages!
(A black-and-white fish blows a raspberry at Sammy, Albert, and the kids. Then, Big Boss, Marco, and Philippe all arrive from the entranceway)
Big Boss: Have no fear. Your savior is here.
Sammy: What a shame, Big Boss. You got here too late. The tourists have already gone.
Big Boss: Huh?
(Albert, Sammy, and the kids all laugh as Big Boss, Marco, and Philippe all swim back to outside the reef. Ricky gestures his friends to follow him)
Scene: Outside the reef village. Big Boss, Marco, and Philippe are swimming back to the shipwreck
(The kids notice two black-and-white fish nearby)
Black-and-white fish 15: I am so hungry.
Black-and-white fish 16: I so want to get some sleep.
(Ella swims to the two fish)
Ella: Hey, if you want, I know a perfect spot where you can spend the night, a very authentic shipwreck. Just ask the boss. He'd be delighted to have you stay there. It's over there.
Two black-and-white fish: Huh? Uh-huh.
(The two fish swim to the shipwreck)
Ricky: Now it's Big Boss's turn to discover the joys of tourism.
(The kids all laugh)
